Astronics Test Systems is pleased to announce firmware release 4.4 for its industry-leading FREEDOM line of LMR communications system analyzers.

This release supports multiple major new features, including:

AutoTune for Kenwood/EFJ Viking VP5000/6000 portables and VM5/6/7000 mobiles

Significant enhancements to the R8200 VNA, such as:

• Ability to save and recall trace data for Return Loss/VSWR and Distance-to-Fault displays
• Ability to import and export trace configuration files
• Ability to export trace data and display images with text ID overlayAddition of SITE ID and GPS Latitude/Longitude fields
• Trace memory and trace math for Return Loss, VSWR and Distance-to-Fault measurements
• Improved menu system for greater ease of use

DMR test mode enhancements:

• BER test for Kenwood 3000/5000 Series Radios
