Optimized for ConcealFab Cable Straps, the Installation Tool tightens and cuts the strap at the maximum grip point. Unlike other tools that can slip on the straps, this installation tool incorporates a more aggressive grip surface to achieve maximum friction while tensioning.

Proper installation torque is required for any bolted connection to achieve low PIM performance. ConcealFab has determined the optimum torque for each of its PIM Shield cable support systems and offers convenient, fixed torque wrenches for each torque requirement.

PIM Shield Cable Cushions fit inside ConcealFab’s Hybrid Snap-ins to support smaller diameter fiber, power, grounding and RET cables. The inner spring fingers of the Hybrid Snap-in securely grip the cushion and prevent the cushion from falling out while installing the cable.

PIM Shield Cable Support Blocks provide a low passive intermodulation method to secure RF, fiber, power and RET cables in high risk PIM zones. Cable Support Blocks are often selected for high wind zones due to their superior strength and rigid support.

PIM Shield Hybrid Snap-ins provide a low passive intermodulation method to secure RF, fiber, power and RET cables in high risk PIM zones. ConcealFab’s patented design provides insulation at the mating surfaces to prevent undesired metal-to-metal contact.

PIM Shield Cable Support Bars provide a low passive intermodulation mounting system to secure multiple Hybrid Snap-ins (sold separately) in high-risk PIM zones. The 4 Position Cable Support Bar Kit includes the cable support bar, plastic base, 8-inch stainless-steel threaded rod, and stain-less-steel hardware in one convenient kit. Acetal straps for securing the plastic base at the site are sold separately (ConcealFab part number 900443-16-50).

PIM Shield Cable Support Brackets are a high strength, low PIM mounting system designed to secure Cable Support Blocks in high risk PIM zones.

The PIM Shield 13-position Snap-in Support brackets provide a low PIM mounting system to secure multiple Hybrid or Plastic snap-ins in high risk PIM zones. Each kit includes all hardware needed to mount the 13-position bar to galvanized steel poles.

The PIM Shield 22-position Snap-in support provides a low PIM mounting system to secure multiple Hybrid or Plastic snap-ins in high risk PIM zones. Each kit includes all hardware needed to mount the 22-position bar to galvanized steel poles.

The PIM Shield 4-position Snap-in mount provides a low PIM adapter for securing multiple Hybrid or Plastic Snap-ins in high risk PIM zones. The 4-position adapter is secured to round members at sites using a PIM Shield Round Member Base and stainless-steel threaded rod kit.

PIM Shield Cable Straps are low PIM, high strength, weather resistant, Acetal straps designed to secure low PIM cable support brackets in high risk PIM zones. Straps are provided cut to length with the locking head pre-installed.

The PIM Shield® Multi-Function Mounting System provides a low-cost, low PIM method to secure cables to round or angle members at cell sites. These unique, Patent Pending designs include molded-in features for secure attachment to pipes or angle member flanges, eliminating the need for multiple parts.

The PIM Shield RF Safety Sign Support provides a low passive intermodulation method for securing metal or plastic RF Safety signs in high-risk PIM zones.

The PIM Shield Round Member Base is a low PIM support for 3/8” stainless-steel threaded rods in high risk PIM zones. ConcealFab’s Patented design includes a 3/8” heavy-head, stainless-steel nut that is retained inside the plastic base.

The PIM Shield 3-position trapezoid is an all-plastic, low PIM alternative for stainless-steel trapezoids. Existing metal trapezoids can be replaced with the ConcealFab low PIM version without having to re-dress cables at the site, saving time and minimizing damage to cables due to bending / flexing.

The PIM Shield 5-position snap-in adapter provides a low PIM mounting location for up to 5 stacks of snap-in style cable hangers in high risk PIM zones. The 5-position adapter is ideally suited for attachment to the flat side of angle members using two PIM shield cable support straps.

The PIM Shield® Universal Mounting System provides a low-cost, low PIM method to secure cables to round or angle members at cell sites. These unique, Patent Pending designs include molded-in features for secure attachment to pipes or angle member flanges, eliminating the need for multiple parts.

When combined with a PIM Shield Rail pole mounting kit, the extra rail kit doubles the available area for attaching Cable Support Blocks or Snap-ins. Extra rail kits can also be used with ConcealFab’s wall mount brackets for securing cables to walls and parapets.

PIM Shield Channel Runner kits provide low PIM interconnects for attaching threaded rods to the PIM Shield Rail and for attaching the rail to mounting brackets at the site. Channel Runners include molded plastic insulators to prevent all metal-to-metal contact between the rail and the mounting hardware.

PIM Shield Cable Support Rail material is available in 6 ft lengths allowing customers to create custom, low PIM cable support and equipment mounting frames at cell sites. Mounting brackets, cross kits and channel runner hardware are available separately.

PIM Shield Rail Pole Mounting Kits provide a low PIM mounting system to secure multiple Cable Support Blocks or Hybrid Snap-ins in high risk PIM zones. The Pole Mount Kit includes one rail plus all hardware required to secure the rail to a pole. An Extra Rail Kit can be added to double available mounting area.

PIM Shield Wall Mount Brackets provides a low PIM method to secure PIM Shield Rails to walls and parapets at cell sites. Hardware to secure brackets to a wall are not included.

PIM mitigation paint and caulk are conductive acrylic polymers with enhanced elasticity designed to reduce external PIM at cellular base stations. PIM Shield® paint is intended for covering large, flat surfaces while PIM Seal™ caulk is intended for application to localized areas on antenna mounting structures.

ConcealFab has partnered with Johns Manville to co-develop reliable roofing materials able to mitigate PIM at rooftop cell sites. These materials are particularly useful for reducing PIM on sites where the antennas are recessed from the building edge due to zoning restrictions.

PIM Shield Tape is a permanent RF barrier that can be installed over PIM sources to instantly improve site performance. PIM Shield tape is designed to bond to a wide variety of surfaces including metals, single ply roofing, multi-ply roofing, concrete, brick, and wood.

PIM Shield Threaded Rod Adapter Kits were developed to provide a low PIM method to secure Cable Support Blocks to galvanized steel mounts designed for snap-in style cable hangers. Threaded Rod Adapters allow 3/8” galvanized threaded hardware to be installed in ¾” diameter galvanized steel mounting holes.

PIM Shield Threaded Rod Kits provide a low PIM mounting system to secure cables in high risk PIM zones. Galvanized steel threaded rod kits should only be attached to galvanized steel brackets or Channel Runners to prevent galvanic corrosion.

PIM Shield Threaded Rod Insulator Kits were developed to provide a low PIM method to secure Cable Support Blocks to mounts designed for snap-in style cable hangers. Threaded Rod Insulators allow 3/8” threaded hardware to be installed in ¾” diameter snap-in mounting holes with no metal-to-metal contact between the threaded hardware and the hole.
