RD Microwaves is known for its rapid response custom innovative and creative designs, mechanical packaging, and manufacture of passive RF/microwave frequency components and low PIM cable assemblies. These products serve the wireless industry for indoor and outdoor applications. Included are components and sub-assemblies for DAS indoor applications, such as filters tappers, splitters, couplers, hybrids (2×2, 3×3, 4×4), and rack mounted assemblies. These products are available in many different connector combinations, male or female, such as 7-16 DIN , Type N, 4.3-10, NEX10 , 2.2-5.0, 1.0/2.3, QMA and SMA and others. Prominent features include broadband performance, high power capability, low insertion loss, and low PIM for communication products.
Covering 130-6000 MHz in 1 dB steps , Low PIM. Tappers /uneven dividers are available with N, 4.3-10, DIN, NEX10 connectors 2 basic models; RF coupled and DC coupled ports. Custom units in rack mounted assemblies are also readily available.
A wide range of Directional Couplers are available from 100MHz-20 GHzwith coupling values from 3dB to 40 dB with most common connector types. Low PIM couplers for DAS applications are listed with 4.3-10, N, and 7-16DIN SMA couplers include broadband from 0.5-18 GHz.
RD Microwaves specializes in made-to order low PIM cables using traditional low PIM tin dipped braided cables in .086, .141, and .250 inch sizes for DAS systems and high power low PIM Test Sets 7-16DIN, N, 4.3-10, 2.2-5.0, NEX10. 1.0/2.3, QMA, SMA connectors are all supplied with low PIM 100% Certified test data.
Inner and inner-and outer DC blocks and monitor teels are listed for very high voltage and low PIM applications to 6 GHz , in addition to GPS and general purpose applications.
Diplexers with wideband frequency separation are shown for public safety and cell band applications from DC to 2700MHz. Low insertion loss and high power applications are supported with suspended conductor -with air dielectric.
Hybrid Combiners in 2×2, 3×3, 4×4 and custom Hybrids and assemblies for low PIM DAS in building applications to 6 GHz and general purpose SMA hybrids up to 20 GHz.
RD Microwave specializes in individual low PIM Attenuators as well as multichannel rack assemblies with up to 16 channels and power levels from 5 Watts to 250 Watts. Applications are typically for low PIM high power test sets and for terminating Hybrids in DAS systems
Intended for DAS systems and test sets with stringent low PIM requirements, a complete range of low PIM 6 GHz terminations and assemblies are specified from 5-500 Watts withn 2.2-5.0 , N, 4.3-10, 7-16 DIN, NEX10 and more.
Subassemblies are custom manufactured to order using both RD Microwaves components and vendor provided components such as filters-diplexers as needed.
A complete range of broadband standard and custom dividers from two way to 8 way, reactive and isolated types are listed with all the commonly used connectors . Products are intended for low PIM DAS in building, test set, and general purpose applications from 130MHz-18 GHz.
